On the 7th of march we went to a wildlife resort in Cork called Fota wildlife. The bus ride was quite long but it wasn't too bad. When we arrived we split into 2 groups and did a few group activities. We were split into teams of 6. Each team had 5 sheep and one Shepard. The sheep were blindfolded and had to get into a small square placed somewhere in the room. They had to figure out where the square was by listening to the Shepard's instructions. After that we moved to a different room and started a different game. In this game in groups of 3. One person was shown a picture of an animal and they then had to pass down the information about the colours of the animal down the line so that the last person could describe the animal. After that we went to see the giraffes before going into the kitchen to see where all the food is made and stored. We then went to see some tapers which are very similar to pigs. The next animal we went to see was some cheetah cubs which were quite cool to see. After that we went to see the Kangaroos. We then went to another enclosure that had both a seal and an eagle in it. We then went to see a spider monkey which was one of the oldest animals in the park. After that we got to see some rhinos which was quite cool before moving on to the lions. When we were finished with the lions we looped back around to the beginning of the park before going into a small presentation about some other animals.
